Russ Morrow is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of North Star Data Centres, where he leads the company's vision to build secure, scalable, and sovereign digital infrastructure for Alberta and Canada. With extensive experience spanning business leadership, strategic growth, governance, and infrastructure development, Russ is focused on creating world-class data centre solutions that support the growing demands of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and high-performance workloads.

Holding both an MBA and the ICD.D designation, Russ brings a powerful blend of executive leadership and corporate governance expertise, coupled with a passion for advancing Alberta's digital economy through locally governed infrastructure that prioritizes data residency, security, resilience, and long-term economic growth. Under his leadership, North Star Data Centres is developing a next-generation campus designed to deliver large-scale, energy-secure data centre capacity while supporting Alberta's innovation agenda, strengthening digital sovereignty, and driving sustainable economic development across the province.

Chief Business Development Officer

Christopher W. Challis serves as Chief Business Development Officer at North Star Data Centres, where he leads strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, market expansion, and commercial growth initiatives. With extensive experience in business development, enterprise sales, client engagement, and strategic relationship management, Christopher plays a key role in advancing North Star's mission to build Alberta's premier sovereign digital infrastructure platform.

Christopher is focused on developing long-term partnerships with enterprise organizations, cloud providers, AI innovators, government agencies, and technology partners seeking secure, scalable, and locally governed data centre solutions. His collaborative approach and deep understanding of emerging digital infrastructure requirements help organizations navigate the growing demand for data residency, high-performance computing, and AI-ready environments.

Stefan Myroniuk, MSc., CISSP

Chief Technology Officer

Stefan Myroniuk serves as Chief Technology Officer at North Star Data Centres, where he leads the company's technology strategy, infrastructure architecture, and innovation initiatives. With extensive experience in enterprise technology, network infrastructure, data centre operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, Stefan is responsible for designing and delivering the resilient, scalable platforms that power North Star's next-generation facilities.

Stefan brings extensive experience in commercial construction and critical infrastructure, having led the integration of data, power, and security systems for a major Calgary development. As CTO, he oversees North Star's technology strategy and infrastructure, delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for cloud, AI, and enterprise computing.
